Independent Music & Culture

Still Listening Magazine

Music and culture from a different perspective. Thoughtful stories in print and online.

Our Story

Still Listening Magazine was founded in 2020 by brothers Eliot and Harry Odgers as a small DIY zine made at home. What began as a handmade print project has since grown into an independent music and culture magazine with an online presence and a twice-yearly print edition. Still Listening has always focused on the human side of sound, with thoughtful interviews, long-form writing, and bold visual design that capture the artists and ideas shaping modern independent music.

Built on curiosity and care rather than trends or algorithms, Still Listening has become a home for readers who want something more tangible from music journalism. Each issue is designed like a keepsake, blending photography, collage, and playful surrealism with original writing. Whether it’s discovering new artists, spotlighting overlooked scenes, or celebrating the underground, the magazine remains dedicated to one simple idea: to keep listening.
