Our Story

Still Listening Magazine was founded in 2020 by brothers Eliot and Harry Odgers as a small DIY zine made at home. What began as a handmade print project has since grown into an independent music and culture magazine with an online presence and a twice-yearly print edition.

When we started Still Listening, we were thinking about the idea that people often stop discovering new music after their teenage years, retreating instead into the nostalgia and familiarity of the records they grew up with. That’s part of why we created Still Listening: for people who still want to find new music, stay curious and keep listening to new things.

Across interviews, reviews, features, Q&As and print issues, Still Listening is rooted in independent music, DIY culture and curiosity. The magazine exists for people who want music journalism to open a few new doors, send them down a few rabbit holes and make them excited to listen to something new.
