Green Man Festival Sells Out 2026 Edition In Just Over An Hour
All tickets for Green Man 2026 have officially sold out in just over an hour, continuing the festival’s remarkable run as the UK’s first major festival to sell out for a fourth consecutive year.
The 2026 edition of the Welsh festival will take place from 20 to 23 August, returning to its long-standing home in the Black Mountains within the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Impressively, the sell-out comes without a single artist announcement, underlining the deep trust and loyalty the festival has built with its audience.
Now entering its 24th year, tickets for Green Man 2026 went on sale at 10am on Saturday 27 September and were fully gone shortly after. No further ticket releases are planned, though fans can access resale tickets exclusively through the festival’s official partner, Tixel.
With a capacity of 25,000 people per day, Green Man remains one of the UK’s most celebrated independent festivals. The 2025 edition was met with widespread acclaim, earning five-star reviews from The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, The London Standard, Rolling Stone UK, DIY Magazine and more.
Festival owner and managing director Fiona Stewart said:
“Diolch yn fawr to the loveliest audience in the universe. We can’t wait to see your faces in a Welsh field when you join us for Green Man 2026. Cariad Mawr.”
While music remains at the heart of the festival, Green Man’s programme spans far beyond the main stages. Across 16 areas, the festival offers comedy, science, live interviews, cinema, circus performances and wellness activities, alongside its much-loved Welsh Beer and Cider Festival in the Courtyard.
Families are also central to the Green Man experience. The Little Folk area provides free activities for children aged 0 to 11, including the annual costume parade, while Somewhere is dedicated to 12 to 17 year olds, offering creative workshops, games and interactive projects.
