Stream Catcher’s debut LP ‘The Fat Of A Broken Heart’

Nevermind the pain, we caught feelings for the post-punk soon-to-be sensation.

Compared to Iceage and Protomartyr, Catcher’s visceral sound travels somewhere even further: into our broken subconscious, intuitively hitting where it hurts the most and trying to heal it at the same time. The Brooklyn-based band, consisting of childhood friends Austin Eichler, Zach Mezzo, Cameron McRae and Wilson Chestney, on bass and drums and guitarists Jack Young and Christian Reech, created a strange scape. It’s a desert of despair dipped into the mayhem of noise dusted with raw lyricism. Though, somewhere deep down, there’s a hidden art-rock water source, keeping alive the sorest spots. It’s well-mastered masochism.

Today, we’ve got an honour to share an exclusive, pre-premiere stream of Catcher’s debut album, “The Fat Of A Broken Heart”.

Get ready to enter the most glorious of chaoses.
