The Last Dinner Party Announce Second Album ‘From The Pyre’

London’s The Last Dinner Party are set to release their eagerly awaited second album, From The Pyre, on October 17, 2025 via Island Records.

To mark the announcement, the band have unveiled the lead single, ‘This Is The Killer Speaking.’ The five-piece recorded From The Pyre in early 2025 with Grammy-winning producer Markus Dravs (Wolf Alice, Florence & The Machine, Bjork), following the huge success of their 2023 debut Prelude to Ecstasy, which reached number one. The new album captures a band enjoying the creative process, growing tighter and more confident after months on the road.

On From The Pyre, the band describe the album as a collection of stories tied together by a mythic concept. “The Pyre” represents a place of destruction but also renewal and light, with songs that use vivid, sometimes dark imagery to explore intense emotions and experiences. The record is described as darker and more raw than their debut, balancing emotional weight with moments of cheeky self-awareness.
