Following on from last year’s sold out festival and a new location move, ArcTanGent drops a whole host of names including two Wednesday headliners, Russian Circles and Brutus and fan favourites ELDER
Today’s lineup announcement includes the return of the much loved and highly respected Massachuesetts rock band Elder, true ATG icons in the shape of US post metal band Russian Circles, and Belgian three piece Brutus. The latter two are Wednesday’s co-headliners - and 2027 will be their first appearance since 2023.
Also announced today includes Faetooth, Future of the Left as part of a 20th anniversary show of ‘Curses’, SubRosa’s reunion show for the first time since 2016, Hipportraktor hot on the heels of their Damnation show this weekend, Kong (reformed after their breakup in 2011), A-Tota-so and many, many more - that is not even the final lineup drop. It’s every bit I could have hoped for in an ArcTanGent lineup, and feels tailor made for long-term fans.
Neurosis and Blood Incantation are already confirmed as two massive main stage headliners, the Wildhearts are there performing an exclusive progressive set, Slift, Holy Fawn, The Ocean and Møl, and Employed To Serve all feature - celebrating the 10th anniversary of their acclaimed album ‘the Warm of a Dying Sun’.
From festival organiser, James Scarlett - "To be sat here a few months after our first ever sold out ATG, with ticket sales for next years festival already miles ahead of where they’ve EVER been at this time of year, AND announcing two juggernauts co-headlining our early entry Wednesday, feels like an immense privilege. To also be announcing a range of other incredible bands that include Future Of The Left and Kong - who have both released some of my personal, genuine all-time favourite albums - reminds me what a huge honour it is to put on ArcTanGent Festival. We truly can’t wait to begin the next chapter at our new home with this amazing community."
From Brutus - "We're extremely happy we can come back to ArcTanGent, exactly 10 years after our first show. This will be a UK exclusive festival show, we hope to see you all there!"
From Russian Circles - "We’re always honoured to be asked to play at ArcTanGent. The festival’s organic growth over the years has really made such a cultural impact. The 2027 lineup is amazing and a true testament to the festival’s legacy of artistry and integrity. We are looking forward to returning and can’t wait to see the new site."
