Grandmas House Announce New EP ‘Who Am I’

The band share explosive new single ‘Desire’ as well as details of new EP Who Am I.

Grandmas House, the beloved punk-trio from Bristol, have announced the arrival of their much-awaited EP, Who Am I, which will be released on March 3rd via Brace Yourself Records. To commemorate the news, they have unveiled their latest single, 'Desire', a raucous two-minute track that explores the tangled web of emotions felt when experiencing a newfound infatuation. Other tracks included in the EP are 'Body' and 'How Does It Feel?', both of which were met with great enthusiasm from BBC Radio 1's Jack Saunders, BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq and Amy Lamé, BBC Radio Foyle's Stephen McCauley, Radio X's John Kennedy, and many more.

'Desire' is a visceral, high-energy track from one of the UK's most up-and-coming acts. The song is about the confusion, excitement and contradictions that arise when meeting someone new and feeling drawn to them. Its lyrics speak of keeping one's head and staying grounded in the whirlwind of infatuation. The music video, directed by Oliver Mallory, stars Frankie Darwin and Savannah Brown, an American writer and friend of the band. The video follows the pair's intense, silent chess game, which culminates in an impassioned argument as they try to outplay each other. 'Desire' is a powerful anthem of first love – its highs, its lows, and everything in between.
