NANTAS Announces New Single ‘Ganymede’
A euphoric club track that captures the rush of queer nightlife while confronting the emotional comedown that follows.
London-based artist NANTAS is set to release his new single ‘Ganymede’ on April 14, 2026, a track that dives into the emotional duality of queer nightlife through a hazy, club-focused lens.
Built around pulsing electronic production from Tom Leach, whose credits include work with Burna Boy and Lewis Capaldi, ‘Ganymede’ leans into the physicality of the dancefloor. Warehouse beats and immersive textures drive the track forward, capturing the sense of release and abandon that defines late-night spaces where identity can feel fluid and unbound.
The title draws from the Greek myth of Ganymede, a figure granted immortality for his beauty. Here, that idea is reframed within modern club culture, where moments of euphoria can feel suspended in time, almost untouchable. The track taps into that intensity, tracing the rush of connection, movement and collective experience.
But ‘Ganymede’ does not stay in that space for long. Running beneath the surface is a quieter tension, one that reflects the comedown that follows. The track acknowledges the emotional weight that can sit alongside these moments, exploring feelings of isolation and the more difficult realities that can exist within queer nightlife.
The result is a piece that moves between extremes, balancing celebration with something more introspective. It positions the dancefloor as both a place of freedom and a space where more complex emotions can surface.
Born in Sorrento in 1997, NANTAS, real name Pierpaolo Aprea, moved to London in 2016. His work draws on a mix of pop spectacle and theatrical storytelling, pulling from artists like Madonna and Lady Gaga while building a broader visual and conceptual world around his music.
Earlier this year, he supported Eiffel 65 at a sold-out show at Electric Ballroom, marking a significant step in his live trajectory. Online, his audience continues to grow, with previous single ‘Bring Out Your Clouds’ surpassing 100,000 views.
‘Ganymede’ arrives April 14.
