Stream Sophie M’s New Single ‘Sophie's Monologue’

Nevermind the pain, we caught feelings for the art pop soon-to-be sensations.

Sophie M is not your ordinary music duo. They are on a mission to explore new ways to fuse genres, feelings, and moods. Most of the time, their initiative comes together in a pleasing avant-garde way. They don't comply with trends and or style. They are following what their instincts and heart dictate. Their approach brings a breath of fresh air to the music scene. Sophie M first appeared in Budapest's alternative music scene in the dawn of 2020. Since then they have had a number of individual and festival performances, both locally and internationally. They even appeared in the prestigious Hungarian YouTube show: Partizán.

They draw inspiration from international artists such as Rosalía, Grimes, Jockstrap, The Kills.

The duo is now spread across Europe and works from Vienna and Lisbon. 

The aim of this new project is to narrate, innovate and experiment with the diverse possibilities of contemporary pop music the mysterious character of "Sophie M".

The title Sophie's Monologue anticipates a new beginning for the duo, exploring the topics of rebirth, evolvement, and change. Through the musical and visual landscape, the duo combines not only the analog and digital processes but also the idea of memory and visions of the future. 

The project involved a group of fresh talents from the contemporary audiovisual scene. In collaboration with the London-based BrainChild Studio, we developed our distribution strategy through a 3D print of Sophie M's character, which will be spread out across Europe to promote the new release. We wish to incorporate our international way of thinking into our projects, and marketing strategies.
