Angine De Poitrine Announce 2027 World Tour With Two Brixton Academy Shows
The Canadian duo will play Halifax’s Piece Hall and two nights at Brixton Academy as part of a world tour beginning in March.
Angine de Poitrine have announced a world tour for 2027, including two nights at London’s O2 Academy Brixton and a show at Halifax’s Piece Hall. The Canadian duo will begin the run with their first Australian performances in March, before heading to South America, North America and Europe, with festival appearances including Primavera Sound, WOMADelaide and the Argentine, Chilean and Brazilian editions of Lollapalooza.
The UK dates begin at the Piece Hall on 24 June, followed by Brixton Academy on 28 and 29 June, marking their biggest UK headline shows to date. Elsewhere on the European leg, the band will play Barcelona’s Primavera Sound between 3 and 5 June, alongside appearances at We Love Green in Paris, Switzerland’s Festi’neuch and Germany’s Hurricane and Southside festivals. The announced schedule runs through to the end of July, finishing in Chicoutimi, Quebec.
The tour follows the release of their second album, Vol. II, in April. The record won the 2026 Polaris Music Prize, while ‘Fabienk’ received the SOCAN Polaris Song Prize, making Angine de Poitrine the first act to win both awards in the same year. Made up of Khn de Poitrine on microtonal guitars and vocals and Klek de Poitrine on percussion and vocals, the duo have also recently performed new song ‘Zugzegk’ on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Their current European and North American headline dates are sold out.
