Justice Announce GTA VI Score and New All-Star Single
‘Flower in a Hurricane’ features Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and accompanies the game’s new launch trailer.
Justice have composed the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games has announced. Alongside the news, the French duo have released ‘Flower in a Hurricane’, a collaboration with Tame Impala, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard that accompanies the game’s new launch trailer.
The single follows excerpts of Justice’s score used in earlier previews, including Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. Further details of a separate album collecting their original score are still to come. ‘Flower in a Hurricane’ will also feature on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the official soundtrack, which is available to pre-save and pre-order on vinyl and CD.
The project follows Justice’s 2024 album Hyperdrama, which featured Tame Impala on ‘Neverender’ and ‘One Night/All Night’. The duo, Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, subsequently toured the record internationally, with ‘Neverender’ winning the Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording.
Grand Theft Auto VI is set in Vice City and the surrounding state of Leonida, following protagonists Jason and Lucia as they become entangled in a criminal conspiracy after a job goes wrong. The game is scheduled for release on 19 November for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
