RIP Magic Announce Debut Album ‘1,2,3’

The London four-piece have shared new single ‘Stadium Drive’ ahead of the album’s October release and their first US headline shows.

RIP Magic will release their debut album, 1,2,3, on 30 October via section1. The announcement comes with new single ‘Stadium Drive’, one of twelve tracks on the record, alongside details of headline shows in New York and Los Angeles this November. The album also includes previous singles ‘Screwdark’, ‘Light Over There’ and the James Murphy-produced ‘5words’.

Made without guitars, 1,2,3 brings together live drums, bass, synthesisers, vocals and samples. Marco Pini, Felix Bayley-Higgins, Beth Boswell-Knight and Pedro Takahashi have approached the record as a space for abrupt changes in sound and mood, drawing on rock, electronic music, hip-hop and pop. American excess and spectacle also run through the project’s visual references, with the band applying a similar process of sampling and recontextualising to imagery.

The announcement follows a busy stretch of touring for RIP Magic, who released their first double single, ‘Loot’ / ‘Dox’, in summer 2025. Since then, they have supported Fcukers and LCD Soundsystem, joined Tame Impala on a 26-date UK and European arena tour, and opened the first night of Jack White’s UK and Ireland tour. Alongside those larger shows, the band have continued making short-notice appearances in London, including a set at LOST following their return from the Tame Impala dates.

Four London shows are listed for October, with venues still to be confirmed. November brings an appearance at Bristol’s Simple Things festival, followed by the US headline dates at Nightclub 101 in New York and Oblivion in Los Angeles, and a slot at Corona Capital in Mexico.
