Samana Release Cinematic New Single ‘Two Wrongs’
‘Two Wrongs’ is not only a superb slice of soaring, majestic folk, but the first to be released on their imprint - The Road Records.
During a year-long journey through Eastern Europe's remote cities and natural wilderness, Rebecca Rose and Franklin Mockett came to realise Samana in the middle of a mountainous woodland. Their initial works were created in the great seclusion of nature and performed on the streets of the cities and villages they went through, lending their instincts exclusively to the road and to the embodiment of freedom. Samana combines their individual styles of poetry, music, stunning photography, and fine art into a single, distinctive enterprise.
On their new song ‘Two Wrongs’ the duo said, “This song gives rise to the reverent and unrelenting intensity that burns inside the hearts of so many and their yearning to voyage beyond the perimeters of societal convention, in stepping beyond the control of predictability into the unknown." You can listen here.
Samana will be playing at he Other Voices Festival in Cardigan on November 4th & 5th and The Globe in Hay on Wye on November 19th. Tickets and info is available here.
