The Queen's Head Announce Debut EP + Share New Single 'Committed'

The Queen’s Head return with more cathartic releases “from the doom of a lost future that Mark Fisher warned us about”.

Today London based The Queen’s Head announced the release of their debut EP, Haunt and shared their new single, ‘Committed’, along with a band-created visualiser — watch here! Their new EP, Haunt, is out Nov 11th and was co-produced by Joel Douglas alongside Andy Savours (My Bloody Valentine, Sorry, Black Country, New Road). The brainchild of childhood friends Joel Douglas and Tom Butler, the band’s music takes you on an enchanting and terrifying ride. The friends say that “the band encapsulate a fictional pub where people can go to experience cathartic release from the doom of a lost future that Mark Fisher warned us about”.

Earlier this year, the band released the Dan Carey-produced tracks ‘Teach Me To Dance’ and ‘Your God Owes You Money’, the latter of which came out as a 7” on Speedy Wunderground. ‘Committed’ is the second single off of the forthcoming EP following ‘Tonight I Saved A Life’.

The Queen’s Head have been championed by BBC 6 Music’s Amy Lamé, BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, Radio X’s John Kennedy and taking London by storm, having sold out London’s Sebright Arms, The Lexington, The Social and Windmill Brixton, where they just wrapped up a summer residency.
