All Out Festival Debuts With The Scratch, Gurriers & Sprints
Ireland’s best bands in the scene look set to go All Out for one final bow of the year - pulling The Scratch, Gurriers and Sprints under one roof at Glenegale Arena, Killarney, Ireleand - to take place on one day, December 19th.
All Out Festival looks set to pop off this year. Three of the best Irish bands reuniting for an end of year blowout in their home country, Gurriers, The Scratch and Sprints, leading a list of names likely to follow suit that’s seemingly in direct response to Fontaines D.C.’s recent Slane castle gig. This feels like the next generation, the next wave - of bands that have come up in the wake of Fontaines D.C. and deserve every bit of an explosion that Fontaines D.C. have.
Bringing the bands together who have shaped Ireland’s live music scene, and taking place the final weekend before Christmas, All Out is set to be one of the biggest performances of the festival season. Gleneagle Arena, Killarney plays host to the three bands with a view of shaping the state of the scene - The Scratch’s brand of metal folk is eye-catchingly good and it’s sure to be a firecracker of a pit. Their album ‘Pull Like a Dog’ is one of 2026’s finest, sharp, abrasive, and full of chaos from start to finish - and having followed them from small pubs in London across the United Kingdom this year, they’re ready to bring the house down on a return to home turf. This is a band that started out playing trad folk and metal busking the streets, and combining the two really ups the tempo - and is album number three, giving them the confidence of a veteran band in the making.
Just as lively are Dan Hoff-fronted Gurriers, responsible for their new album ‘Nobody’s Coming to Save You’ their industrial post-punk sound coming for the state of the nation politics and the bleak outlook; angry at the world and screaming out for anyone to listen - building on their first album ‘Come and See’ building on the success of hits like ‘Des Goblin’, ‘Approachable’ and ‘Dipping Out’ for a unique set that harkens back to the sound of old Fontaines D.C. before their explosion.
The third and final band announced caps off a firestarter of a day that’s sure to be eventful, fronted by Karla Chubb - Sprints - who recently played at The 100 Club spotlighting 50 years of punk since its ‘birth’ in 1976, on a bill that included The Crows and Wax Head; celebrating ticket prices as they were in 1976. Like with Gurriers they are on album number two ‘All That Is Over’, that has debuted to critical acclaim.
More band names are to be revealed, and ticket prices start at 44.20 euroes, on sale Friday October 9th, available to buy via the link at Ticketmaster Ireland.
