Chalk Release Double Single ‘Heaven & Hell’ Ahead Of Fontaines D.C. Support Tour
Supporting Fontaines D.C. on their arena tour; Chalk release double single ‘Heaven’ (featuring Phantogram & cosign’) ‘Hell’
The imagery of heaven and hell goes hand in hand and none moreso than on Chalk’s double single; ‘Heaven’ and ‘Hell’ - that’s propulsive, rich and captures the rapid rise that the band have had that has seen them selected as the heir apparent for Fontaines D.C., selected on their mammoth arena tour for the support of new album; ‘Dopamine Chamber’.
Chalk’s album ‘Crystalpunk’ released earlier this year sums up their intent as a band and propelled them onto the international stage; with support from tastemaker KEXP and BBC 6 Music. Their dance energy should get the crowd moving long before Fontaines D.C. come onto stage; and their album was included in the Guardian’s Top albums of 2026 so far. Coupled with being hailed as the future of music by the Rolling Stone UK in their 2026 issue, with Chalk - you know you’ve got good hands.
The lore that Chalk have pulled into with their release for ‘Heaven'/Hell’ is fascinating - fans are asked to be taken to a website that asks them to decide between two opposing paths, Heaven or Hell - and each journey is a series of unconventional challenges of their own right. Do you follow the rules - or do you break them? Chalk lean into the mythos perfectly and create a whole new universe of sound.
