Lambrini Girls Share New Singles ‘The Basement’ And ‘Spilt’

The Brighton duo tackle the manosphere and alcohol dependency on two tracks from their second album, No Refunds, due in January.

Lambrini Girls have released two new singles, ‘The Basement’ and ‘Spilt’, ahead of their second album, No Refunds. The record arrives on 15 January 2027 through City Slang, following their 2025 debut Who Let The Dogs Out. The pair have also announced a North American headline tour for next spring, alongside their previously announced UK and European shows.

‘The Basement’ follows what the band describe as ‘a sad little man who gets radicalised by the manosphere’, examining how online communities draw disaffected men towards reactionary politics. ‘Spilt’ approaches a different subject through an unfamiliar format for the duo: a fully acoustic song about alcohol dependency. ‘It was exciting and challenging to do something that’s so different to the rest of the album and what we do in general, but to make it as powerful in its own way,’ says bassist Selin Macieira. Both tracks follow the previously released ‘Bang Bang Bang’ and ‘Cult of Celebrity’.

Across its 11 tracks, No Refunds addresses subjects including fascism, genocide, artificial intelligence and celebrity culture. It follows a difficult period for Macieira and vocalist and guitarist Phoebe Lunny. Macieira took a break from touring in late 2025 following burnout and a manic episode associated with her bipolar disorder, while Lunny suffered a brain injury during the band’s first Australian tour. The pair’s experiences prompted them to reassess the demands of life in the band as they worked towards the new record.

Their 2027 UK and Ireland dates begin at Cambridge Junction on 4 March and include Manchester Academy, Glasgow Barrowlands and London’s Roundhouse. The newly announced 13-date North American tour starts in Washington, D.C. on 25 March, with stops including New York, Toronto, Chicago, San Francisco and Vancouver before finishing in Portland on 16 April. Tickets for the North American shows go on sale on Friday 23 October at 10am local time, with further European dates following in May and June.
