Roscoe Roscoe Announce Debut Album ‘One Day I'll Return to You With Loving Arms’ With New Single

Roscoe Roscoe have been around the London scene building a name for themselves for a while through word of mouth shows and now they have arrived with ‘One Day I’ll Return to you With Loving Arms’ - drawing from An AIR b-side ‘Bossa 916’ to showcase their long awaited debut album; showing where their influences are but creating their own unique sound. Like much of ‘One Day…’ it’s a music that evokes panoramic vistas, infinite horizons and a deep seated wonder at nourishing, ineffable forces of nature.

Having seen Roscoe Roscoe support BDRMM at The 100 Club and play at Dalston’s SJQ in the past, the fact that the East London outfit are putting out new material is fantastic news. The post-rock/shoegaze band share members with Sarah Meth, Mandrake Handshake and Long Distance Runner so are no stranger to the live circuit in London; having already played Glastonbury, Green Man, Manchester Pysch Fest and Left of the Dial.

Vocalist/guitarist Charlie Read Clarke explains: “Bossa 916 is the bands first instrumental release and for me perfectly captures the feelings and sonic energy of the record. It's a journey - there is an obvious bridge between highs and lows and the song has a resolving theme which is a big part of the record’s arc and concept. Not that it is a concept album. “We have been writing instrumental music for a long time before this and it feels great to show the world what feels like a big part of what the band is truly about and capable of. Our approach to writing has always been about arrangement, feeling and atmosphere. I’ve never been a wordsmith and don’t pretend to be.”

Their sound is immaculate, shoegaze-y and psychedelic with a dreamlike sense of wonder. ‘Bossa 916’ is no different - and showcases the next chapter in the evolution of Roscoe Roscoe as a band. ‘One Day I’ll Return to You With Loving Arms’ is due 18 January 2026, with a voyaging new single ahead debuted designed to invite people to attend their headline show at St. Pancreas Old Church in the new year, 27 Jan.
